International Talk Like A Pirate Day, Music Review and What I Can't Wait to see on TV

I recently got the new Mark Ronson CD - called "Version" and it rocks....one of my new faves.

If you like your music with some funk, then check it out.

Favorite tracks would include the cover of "God Put a Smile on Your Face" originally done by Coldplay...this is a funk instrumental cover. Very fun and upbeat.

Also, love the cover of Britney Spear's "Toxic", instead of dancified crap, it's a slower version...the only drawback is the naughty words rapped into it. Not for young ears at all.

Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen both contribute tracks on this album as well. As my friend Michelle said...drunken British chicks....yep, but they sing pretty.

The new fall television schedule is starting soon, if not already. This is what I am looking forward to seeing this season:

• Bionic Woman - supposed to be different from the original, no cheesy slo mo shots, but on the negative side, I heard no "Bionic" sound...you know....nnnn nnnn nnnn nnnn
• Journeyman - sounds like Quantum Leap without the sci-fi aspect.
• The Sarah Connor Chronicles - yep, from Terminator...just pretend the 3rd movie never happened....tee hee hee
• Heroes - I need to finish watching the first season dammit!
• America's Next Top Model - more drama, yay!
• Kitchen Nightmares - Hell's Kitchen Chef Ramsey helping real owners of restaurants turn their businesses around...wanna bet there's cussing?
• K-Ville - New Orleans police detectives after Katrina...I liked it!
• The usual CSIs and NCIS

And that's what I'll be watching as well as Project Runway as soon as they put it on!
